10 Amazon Must-Haves For a Healthy Summer

Amazon. Hallelujah.

I don’t usually buy things online. I like to find things locally if I can. But sometimes, you have something so specific in mind that you have to buy it online. When that happens to me, I start with Amazon.

So, I decided to write this blog post because I order things from Amazon on the reg.

I bet you do too.

Amazon can be dangerous. I add what I need to my cart, but then I think “well, while I’m ordering this, I better order this too…”. Then it moves on to “Penny needs this, so I better add it cause it’s free shipping”! Things can spiral out of control so so quickly….

But you know what, YOLO.

These are my favorite Amazon must-haves for a better, healthier summer! You bet I’ll be using these products all summer long!

 Infuser Pitcher

Staying hydrated in the heat is so important. But I get it, water sucks sometimes. That’s why I use this baby. I flavor my water with fruit, cold brew tea, whatever I feel like. I end up drinking more water during the day, and actually enjoying it. Lately, I’ve been toying around with the idea of infusing fruit into my cold brew iced tea. Um, heck yes.

Popsicle Mold

My husband Tommy looooooves popsicles. They’re a great summer treat and seem like a healthier option than ice cream. But if you’ve ever checked the nutrition facts label (and you def should!) you’ll notice most popsicles sold in the stores are just terrible for you. They’ve usually been packed with sugar and have completely lost all the nutrition that the fruit had in it in the first place. That’s why making your own popsicles is such a great option! I wish I had a good recipe for you guys, but sadly, I haven’t put one together (yet), so here are some healthy ones from other dietitian bloggers to try out!

Breakfast Popsicles

Coconut Mango Popsicles

Matcha Green Tea Latte Popsicles

Watermelon Strawberry Popsicles

Vegan Blackberry Vanilla Protein Pops

Protein Powder

If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know I love Designer Whey protein powder. I use it in my protein coffee every day, I put it my Coconut Matcha Protein Balls, and I used it in my Protein Strawberry Shortcake. It has probiotics, lots of fiber, and very low sugar content. So I know I’m getting the best possible bang for my buck whenever I use it. Plus it tastes capital A-mazing!

Reusable K Cups

K Cups get expensive, am I right? I use my Keurig every day but don’t want to shell out more than a few cents per cup of coffee. I buy my own grounds, and fill this reusable K Cup daily. It runs through the Keurig just like a regular disposable K cup, you just rinse it out after each use. I get my caffeine fix all summer long while saving money. Win-win!

Resistance Bands

Why in the heck are gyms also so hot in the summer? I wish they’d invest more in A/C. These resistance bands are perfect for working out in your own home. Each band has a different “stretchiness”, so you can choose how hard (or easy) your work out will be! I have a set of my own and they work perfectly for any stage of fitness you may be in right now. I love that I have the option to work out with these without leaving my house.

Food Processor

I don’t think I could get through life without a food processor. It has a few different attachments that make it so versatile. Use it for chopping, slicing, mincing, and shredding. I use it for my homemade salsa, for my coconut matcha protein balls, I even use it to shred cheese!

Running Waste Pack

I love running outside with Penny, but I have a huge phone that doesn’t fit in my tiny little pockets. This waste pack lets me take my phone with me without strapping it to my arm. It doesn’t slide down and is adjustable based on your waste size. Plus it’s super comfortable and super stretchy, so it can hold any size phone. It’s seriously perfect for anybody trying to get their fitness on!

Starbucks Straw Brush

These are like, essential. It’s summer now, and I bet your cups with reusable straws have been getting used on the daily. I know all of my reusable Starbucks cups have come out of the cupboard at this point. But let me tell you, if you don’t wash those straws, they’re a breeding ground for bacteria. You need these straw brushes to properly clean and sanitize those straws so you can stay healthy and hydrated all summer long.

Matcha Powder

Matcha is such an awesome super food, but all matcha is not created equal. Starbucks has a pretty popular green tea latte that I used to order. I haven’t ordered it since I found out that it has 33 grams of sugar per 16 oz latte. No wonder it’s so good. Now I just have my own matcha powder and I can do whatever I want with it. It’s not sweetened, but it isn’t bitter either. This one is super high quality so you know you’re getting all the health benefits without any filter or added sugar.

Try this Coconut Matcha Protein Ball recipe for a quick pick me up!

SmartShake Bottle

I use this shaker bottle pretty much daily for my protein coffee. It works sooo much better than other shaker bottles because of it’s design. It’s dishwasher safe, and there is no metal wire ball to worry about washing.

Well, there you have it. All of my favorite healthy Amazon must-haves this summer.

Pin this for later!

Be sure to let me know when you order them and let me know what you love!

xoxo Megan
