    5 Must-Have Fall Jogging Products

Fall is approaching fast, and I’m so excited because it’s my favorite season! It means pumpkin spice everything, holidays, and the trees changing color! But it also means less sunlight, more rain, and general dreariness. Boo.

Going running this fall? Then you absolutely need the right gear, clothes, and outfits to hit the trail with success. These are some of the best tips and products you’ll find to help you crush your goals when jogging this autumn. #fall #fallrunning #running #jogging #weightloss #products #trail #gear #tips #jog #buy

I especially feel bad for my dog, because she not only hates being out in the rain, but so does her dog mom. And that means less walks.

Even though I’m not a fan, I still try to get out and jog with her whenever possible.

But jogging in the mornings in the fall is soooooo much different than in the summer.

You need to be more prepared if you’re going to be exercising outside.

Here’s a few things you can do to prepare yourself if you want to keep jogging outside as the seasons change:

    1. Get a reflective vest

It’s dark in the fall. It’s dark when you leave for work, it’s dark when you come home. You need something to tell cars that you’re there.

If I had a dollar for every time I’ve seen a runner dressed in dark clothes when it’s pitch black outside, I’d have so many dollars LOL it’d probably be more, but I bet I haven’t seen all of them. Because they’re INVISIBLE.

This is the one that I have and use, and it works great. It’s super comfortable, and I just put it over my rain coat or jogging coat and go on my way. It even has pockets! Easy peasy.

    2. Grab your rain coat

I live in Oregon, so it’s rains here quite a bit. If you limit yourself to only working out when it’s dry, you’re just kidding yourself.

This one is water-proof, wind-proof, and designed for running, making it an awesome choice for a running jacket this fall. Also, it has a lifetime warranty!

    3. Cover your ears, baby

Whenever I jog outside when it’s cold, my ears huuuuurt. Can anyone else relate? That’s why I wear fleace ear muffs, ear warmers, whatever they’re called.

These ones are crazy comfortable and stay on my head without falling off (and that says a lot, because I have a tiny head LOL).

    4. Light it up

    Running in the dark sucks.

You can’t see, no one can see you, and I don’t know about anyone else, but my dog is jumpy in the dark.

That’s why I wear this on early morning pitch black runs.

You’re going to feel like Iron Man in this thing. It is a crazy bring light that literally straps to your chest. It’s rechargeable, and the battery power lasts me 4-5 30 minute jogs. You can turn it off and on as you want, and it’s actually pretty comfortable to run in.

    5. Gear up your dog

You guys know by now how much I love my dog, Penny. So she deserves a shout out here, since she is my #1 running buddy.

For those dark morning runs with your pup, you gotta make sure they can be seen just as much as you.

I have an LED light up collar for Penny that I throw on her to keep her visible.

This collar has different settings, too. You can turn it to strobe (partay!), constant light, or a slow blink. It’s rechargeable like the chest light I mentioned above, and it seems to be super comfortable for her, even with short fur.

Plus, if you’re really into it, there’s a matching leash here.

There it is, my 5 favorite products for running in the autumn.

Head over here to get some great ideas on post-work out recovery.

Whose ready for the fall season?! I know I am 🙂

Don’t forget to pin it for later!
