Ingredients
2tspavocado oil
½red onionsliced
4clovesgarlicminced
1mediumsweet potato½ inch cubes
2Honeycrisp or Fuji applessliced
12ozchicken apple sausage linksprecooked and sliced
2tspfresh thyme
1tspcinnamon
½tspdried sage
½cuplow sodium chicken broth
2cupkalechopped
Instructions
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute onion, garlic, and sweet potato together for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add apples, chicken apple sausage, fresh thyme, cinnamon, sage, and chicken broth, and saute for another 5 minutes.
Add chopped kale, and toss until everything is combined. Cook on medium for another 2-3 minutes, until kale is wilted, then serve!
