Ingredients
2 ½cupschopped strawberries
1cuporganic cane sugaror other granulated sugar
1cupwater
Instructions
Add the fresh strawberries, sugar, and water to a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes until the strawberries become mushy.
Strain the strawberries from the liquid, discarding the strawberries and reserving the liquid.
Cool the strawberry syrup in the fridge for at least an hour, then add to your favorite teas, smoothies, and drinks!
